The entire series of CSR activities of PT TEZ Capital And Finance (TCF), namely the construction of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nurul Iman school building located in Cikanyere Hamlet, Cibungur Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province—was finally completed, ending with the inauguration and symbolic handover of the building to the Leuwidamar District community, on October 22, 2021, which took place in a hybrid manner. The event was held offline at the building location and witnessed online via Zoom by all TCF employees and directors.

This CSR activity, organized in collaboration with DT Peduli, was a lively event and received a positive response from community leaders, elders, parents/guardians of students, and local government officials. The event, which opened with a recitation of the Quran and received appreciation from the Leuwidamar Sub-district Head, the Cibungur Village Head, and the Religious Education Supervisor from the Leuwidamar Sub-district Ministry of Religious Affairs, proceeded solemnly.

The community and local leaders rejoiced and welcomed the re-establishment of the Nurul Iman Elementary School building, which had been nearly destroyed. It now boasts a new, more robust structure and appearance. The students of Nurul Iman Elementary School were filled with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. They took turns showcasing their skills in singing religious songs and performing oratory before the audience.

In addition to the building, TCF also donated two computers to support the school's educational and administrative activities. The joyous atmosphere at the event was understandable, given that the long-awaited building was completed just in time for the resumption of in-person learning, permitted by the local government, after a long period of distance learning during the pandemic and the implementation of the PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) policy.

"We, the entire Board of Directors and Commissioners and all TCF employees, by saying Bismillahirohmaanirrohim , hereby declare that the Nurul Iman Elementary Madrasah School Building has been officially handed over to the community of Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, which will be managed according to the provisions in the religious education environment under the supervision of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Hopefully this building can be useful, the students who study here, become a young generation who are intelligent, faithful and pious, become pious and righteous children," said Dody Hasril, President Director of TCF in the handover ceremony of the building which was carried out symbolically and online.

Following the handover ceremony of the school building, given that this moment coincided with Financial Literacy and Inclusion Month established by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), TCF Management also took advantage of this good and familiar opportunity to socialize about the financial industry in simple and easy-to-understand language. "From a young age, we must introduce the meaning of money to children, and how to use money wisely. What does "using money wisely" mean? It means using money wisely and carefully so that the money can be useful now and in the future. One activity of using money wisely is to enjoy saving," explained Asep Zamzam, TCF Account Officer.

The delivery of material on finance in rural communities is considered to be in line with the spirit of financial literacy and inclusion, considering that the majority of residents of Cikanyere Village are a community group that is generally still not familiar with the financial industry and the various financial services that currently exist.

"Efforts to improve community financial literacy and inclusion by involving religious leaders and local community elders are TCF's strategic initiative in support of the OJK program during Financial Literacy and Inclusion Month, which runs from October 1 to 30, 2021. This is a cultural strategy that utilizes the local wisdom of the religious Leuwidamar community. That's why TCF's CSR theme is always closely linked to education in areas that have not been widely touched by modern financial services," said Daniel Hutapea, Director of TCF, closing the series of events for the inauguration and handover of the Nurul Iman Elementary School building during Financial Literacy and Inclusion Month.
